Transcending conflicts, service branches and generations, the
American Veterans Disabled for Life Memorial
will express America's lasting gratitude to the men and women whose lives were forever changed in service to our country.
For the first time in our nation’s history, we will build a monument to honor and pay tribute to some of America’s most courageous heroes. The American Veterans Disabled for Life Memorial will celebrate those men and women who may be broken in body—but never in spirit.
As these veterans face a life for which no one can prepare, so must their families and friends. The
American Veterans Disabled for Life Memorial
will also honor veterans’ loved ones and caregivers — individuals whose heroic devotion is a source of strength for those striving to heal.
Our disabled veterans have given so much so that we may be free. It is our turn to do something for them. Join me in support of the American Veterans Disabled for Life Memorial and together we can show our disabled veterans that America cares. We will never forget the sacrifices made in defense of our country and of the American way of life.
Thank you for your donation for the American Veterans Disabled for Life Memorial. The Walking for Those Who Can't endeavor hopes to create awareness of, not only the Memorial, but of all disabled veterans in our nation. They deserve this recognition and the lasting tribute of the Memorial.
